Chirurgo ortopedico specializzato nel trattamento artroscopico e protesico
delle patologie della spalla e del ginocchio
Nato a Siena, mi sono laureato, con lode, in Medicina e Chirurgia presso l’Università di Siena. Successivamente ho conseguito la specializzazione in Ortopedia e Traumatologia presso l’Università di Palermo con il massimo dei voti e la lode.
Ho conseguito il Dottorato di Ricerca (PhD) in Oncologia e Chirurgie Sperimentali presso l’Università degli Studi di Palermo, studiando e sviluppando materiali e dispositivi impiantabili.
Nel mio percorso ho approfondito, fin dai primi anni di specializzazione, le patologie della spalla e del ginocchio, trascorrendo molti mesi all’estero. Come Research/Observer Fellow, ho frequentato il King Edward VII’s Hospital (London, UK) e l’ Imperial College (St Mary’s Hospital, Charing Cross Hospital – London, UK) con il Prof. P. Reilly, la Fortius Clinic (London, UK) con il Dr. A. Williams ed il Beth Israel Lahey Health (Winchester Hospital e Excel Orthopedic Clinic – Boston, Massachusetts, USA) con il Dr. P. Vezeridis.
Faccio parte dell’equipe di “Chirurgia della Spalla e delle altre articolazioni”, diretta dal Dr. E. Gervasi, presso il P.O. Casa di Cura Giovanni XIII di Monastier di Treviso. Da qualche anno collaboro anche con strutture convenzionate e private nell’area della Toscana Sud-Est (Siena, Grosseto, Arezzo).
